Illustrated workflowChoose a commander
The Ur-Dragon leads this example. Its five-color identity leaves room for Dragons from every color. In the editor, search for a commander and choose it before adding the rest of your list.
Find and add cards
Search by name, type, creature type, or Scryfall syntax. Add cards to Main Deck, or keep alternatives in Maybeboard. These four cards are selected from the homepage’s Dragon example.

Goldspan Dragon · Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm · Terror of the Peaks · Dragon’s Hoard
Refine your list
Keep your commander separate from Main Deck. Move possible additions to Maybeboard and compare them before committing. Switch between the editor’s card views as your list grows.
Check your build
Check mana and deck foundations in Analyze. Explore combos through Tools, compare suggestions in Improve, and try sample hands in Playtest. This example’s low interaction count is a reason to consider a few more answers.

- Attack with Ventmaw to add six mana.
- In the following main phase, spend five on Aggravated Assault to untap your creatures and gain another combat.
