Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Description

My current Sephiroth deck in Bracket 3 form. "Please read every permanent I control before you let me untap"...

Primer

SEPHIROTH, FABLED SOLDIER//Complete

This deck has been in the works since around June 15th, Father's Day 2025. Little did I know that Sunday I would pull Sephiroth from the gift box I got from the kids. I remember opening the booster bundle box and pulling some heat out of the regular packs. I opened the last pack that had a couple of random foils and the lands to complete the gift box. I thumbed through the contents when the full art foil Sephiroth stood out from the rest. I exclaimed out loud when I first saw him and thought, "no way I just pulled this guy". I passed the card around the room and discussed how awesome the art and overall card was, the possibilities!

Fast forward to about 21 June and I decided to go ahead and make a Commander deck with him, since my prototype Lazav deck wasn't quite making the progress I had hoped for and was moving along really slow. Like any deck, this thing has been mutating from its original design to what you see here. It went from a bracket 2 Mono-Black aristocrats themed battlecruiser, with cards such as Panharmonicon and Conjurer's Closet to slowly spam emblems and play beefy spells largely on theme with Final Fantasy. Since then, it's become leaner, meaner, and absolutely brutal with soft lock combos (for board control), a recursion suite that's interlaced with a robust menu of edict creatures, combo engines, and accelerated card velocity.

This deck is my pride and joy, thanks for making this Commander deck possible guys...

Love, Dad
